2024 ASE Bargaining Convention

On November 16th and 17th, elected delegates from every UC campus will meet in Pico Rivera, CA for the first-ever UAW 4811 Academic Student Employee (ASE) Bargaining Convention! Over the course of two days, ASEs will debate and discuss ASEs’ shared priorities for the contract campaign, ultimately voting on and developing a bargaining platform before bargaining with the UC begins in January 2025. Bargaining convention delegates will be elected by a membership-wide vote on October 24th and 25th.

Nominations for convention delegates closed as of 11:59 pm on October 17. Click here for a list of candidates for Delegate. For those divisions in which there is a contested election, the election will be conducted electronically. An invitation to a personalized, secret and secure ballot will be sent to you from a secure online voting platform, Simply Voting (vote@simplyvoting.com), on Thursday, October 24th. Voting will close at 5:00 pm (Pacific Time) on Friday, October 25th. Once the election has concluded, check this page to see the results.

The Elections Committee will be on call for assistance during the election. If you have any questions or encounter any issues while voting, please contact the Elections Committee at elections@uaw4811.org.

For more information about the bargaining convention delegate elections, see this page. Check back after the elections conclude for more information, including the list of all elected convention delegates.
