Statement on Tuesday, June 11th’s Events at UC Davis

On Tuesday, an outside group aggressively took over a UAW 4811 march at UC Davis and unplugged the union’s sound system in order to lead their own chants during and after the event. This group is not a part of Local 4811. Its behavior and incendiary rhetoric on Tuesday were completely unaligned with and unrelated to our ongoing unfair labor practice dispute with the University of California. We have always been clear in our condemnation of antisemitism, Islamophobia, and calls to violence. Today is no different.
